Mark Finnan

Mark Finnan is an Irish born author, playwright and actor who has written extensively and given talks on subjects in the Cayce readings, ranging from Atlantis to Reincarnation to Creative Spirituality. He has also been active with Search For God study groups and with Edgar Cayce Canada.
His work has been presented at the Dublin Theatre Festival and in venues on both sides of the Atlantic, including at many Unity churches/centers and also here at the A.R.E.. His early training ground was the theatres of Dublin, followed by a stint at the Stanislavsky Studio in London, England.
An innate interest in spirituality led him to the Center for Living Research, a Cayce influenced spiritual center in Dublin. A life changing and enriching experience, it also influenced his work as a actor and writer. As a result of his studies and training there he continues to teach a course in creative spiritual development that helps individuals attune to and express their true/whole self more effectively and harmoniously in everyday life.
He co-founded the Celtic Arts Theater in Galway for the purpose of presenting plays based on Celtic and world mythology and during the 1990s he took part in several of the inspiring Corinthian Theatre plays presented by Paula and Edward Fitzgerald of Norfolk, Virginia. He has written and performed a series of sacred dramas informed by the Cayce material, such as The Master and the Essenes. He is currently completing The Temple of God, which is set in Ephesus during the last years of the life of St. John and explores/explains the meaning of his Revelation.
He and his former wife were involved in establishing and managing the Shelter Valley Spiritual Center in Southern Ontario, where numerous lectures, programs and workshops were offered and which was the venue for what is believed to have been the A.R.E.s first ever residential field program.
He is the author of three books on mysteries of early Canadian and North American history that cover such subjects as Oak Island, the voyage of Prince Henry Sinclair, the Templars and their lost treasure, the legend of the Holy Grail and the influence of the Masonic and Rosicrucian movements. He has scripted two television documentaries based on his research which have been presented on A&E and Vision TV. He was also consulted on Masonic symbolism and hidden treasure legends for the first National Treasure movie staring Nicholas Cage. His illustrated talk will include highlights of his involvement with the world famous Oak Island Mystery and the extraordinary experiences he had in the process.

Lloyd grew up in Canada and attended the University of Toronto where he received a degree in Physics, primarily Nuclear Physics and Elementary Particle Physics.
After moving to Virginia Beach in 1986, he has been employed as a Professional Mathematician, and as Senior Software Engineer on contracts for the Federal Aviation Administration and for NASA.

Karen Hauck began her spiritual journey in the late 80’s while working as a management analyst for the Department of Defense in Alexandria, Virginia. Following the Holy Spirit’s guidance, she closed that 20 year chapter in her life and moved to Atlanta to work on the sequel to a two hour NBC special documentary, Angels the Mysterious Messengers, her brother Rex had written, produced and directed for an audience of 22 million in the Spring of ’94. New Age author Carol Chapman looks forward to giving her third presentation at the Edgar Cayce Forum.
This time, she will be talking about her research to find evidence of Atlanteans and Lemurians in Yucatan.
She has travelled four times to the Yucatan. Referring to ancient Mayan mythology and the psychic readings of Edgar Cayce, she searched for indications that Atlanteans and Lemurians influenced the ancient Mayan civilization.
During her travels, she not only explored Mayan ruins but also interviewed present-day Mayans about their grandparent’s handed-down legends explaining carvings in the ruins.
She wrote about some of her adventures in When We Were Gods (the revised, updated edition of The Golden Ones) and Arrival of the Gods in Egypt.
Recently embarking into the realm of filmmaking, she is pleased to announce her first travel documentary, Yucatan Travel: Cancun to Chichen Itza.
Her articles have been published in several spiritual magazines such as Fate and Dream Network, as well as Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E.’s membership magazine, Venture Inward.
She is a frequent guest on talk radio including Art Bell and George Noory’s Coast-to-Coast AM, the Maria Shaw Show and the Doug Stephan Show.
Carol is also an award-winning photographer who previously worked for NASA as a photojournalist with photographs published in Air and Space Smithsonian, Details, and Koku-Fan (Japan).
While at NASA, her life took an amazing turn when she went to a hypnotherapist for weight control and ended up recalling her experiences in Atlantis. She traveled to Yucatan and Egypt to find confirmation of her past life memories.
A student of the Cayce readings since she was a teenager, Carol has started and been a member of a number of Edgar Cayce Search for God Study Groups.
Carol earned a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Arizona’s Prescott College and studied Photography and Filmmaking at Ryerson University in Toronto.

Peggy Cross, A.S.I.D. has been a professional Feng Shui teacher, lecturer, writer and consultant since 1998 and began her interior design career in 1988. Peggy is an adjunct instructor of Interior Design as well as Feng Shui at Tidewater Community College in Chesapeake, Virginia. She has developed a full semester 3 credit Feng Shui class for the college.
In addition to Hampton Roads and other areas of Virginia, Peggy has Feng Shui clients with whom she has worked on site in California, Florida, Michigan, Nevada and the Bahamas. Her specialty is remote consultation through floor plans, photos and a biography. These are helpful for pre-construction and moving as well as other life issues. Using her Feng Shui recommendations, Peggy’s clients have found spouses, sold homes, enhanced spiritual relationships, increased financial flow, received promotions, and more.
