waltTeachings of the Essenes:  Walking in Harmony with Heaven and Earth

In a world adrift with seemingly insurmountable challenges from global warming and pollution, to oppression and ideological conflict, the ageless teachings of the Essenes provide direction and hope.  They taught a perspective of life, and living in harmony and peace with self, family, community and the world.  These ancient concepts written over 2,000 years ago can be applied to personal transformation, as well as to the transformation of the problems of the world today.

Walt Zeller will present his personal spiritual journey and discovery of the Essene scriptures.  Drawing on various ancient texts and references, Walt will describe and discuss the concepts of the Essene philosophy and its application in our daily lives.  His references include the Essene Gospel of Peace, the Gospel of the Holy Twelve, the Clementine Homilies, excerpts from the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Nag Hammadi codices, and the Edgar Cayce readings, as well as the writings of Josephus Flavius, Philo of Alexandria, and Pliney the Elder.

Walt completed a 21 year military career in 2000 and then was called to a path of teaching, healing and guiding others.  He has been a Reiki practitioner since 2000, with certification as a Reiki Master / Teacher in both Usui Reiki and Karuna Reiki®.  Walt became an ordained minister in the Essene New Life Church in 2003.  He studied with the Essene Church of Christ, Order of the Nasarean Essenes for seven years, and is currently studying with the Essene Nazarean Church of Mount Carmel in their School of the Prophets.

Walt holds a BS in Agricultural Economics from Penn State and an MA in International Relations from St. Mary’s University.  He offers experiential meditation, instruction on healing techniques, and teaching of the Essene history, lifestyle and doctrinal practices.
