SHERRY BROWNING – Has lectured, held workshops, had art exhibits, & book signings in colleges, expos, & bookstores. She’s been a guest on Maria Shaw’s national show, “Psychic Radio” & a reader for Maria Shaw’s Psychic Fair in VA. In 2008 Sherry’s lecture for VA Beach IANDS (International Assoc. for Near-Death Studies) broke the chapter’s record for attendees. A participant in the Mothman Festival in Point Pleasant, WV & speaker for the UFO Club at the Oceanfront makes Sherry a well-rounded speaker on the paranormal.
After her NDE in 1991 Sherry brought back the gift of discernment. Other gifts developed later. This mystic combines handwriting, tarot & colors for readings. Just her way of talking with God & having Him answer. Author of “Climbing Through the Window of Time” a story about how she met her ghost, Mildred, in 1993. During the 1930s of the Depression years VA Beach was a jumping/jiving place to be. The Cub Gables was at the north end of the beach behind the Cavalier on the hill. It was an after-hours club where the entertainers from the Cavalier went to relax and jam and where others went to gamble and have fun. The Club Gables was built during difficult times. It thrived and was the beginning of Mildred and Eddie Lachman’s fortune. They went on to build the VB fishing pier. It was also the time when Edgar Cayce moved to the beach to begin his life’s journey also at the north end.
Mildred will tell how she survived and flourished during the Depression. The 2nd hour I’ll talk about her rules of wisdom and how they apply to our changing times today.
