Peggy Cross, A.S.I.D. has been a professional Feng Shui teacher, lecturer, writer and consultant since 1998 and began her interior design career in 1988. Her mission is to assist and guide her clients and students in creating greater beauty, joy, peace and positive change in their homes and in their lives.
When Peggy moved to Virginia Beach on December 1, 2005 her destination was the A.R.E. “Venture Inward” published her first article Feng Shui and Cayce Compared, Aligning With Universal Energies in the July/August 2007 issue; this was followed by From Chaos to Clarity in September/October 2009. She has been a presenter for A.R.E. conferences since 2008 and is scheduled for New Years 2010. She presents monthly survey lectures and mentors eGroups – all on the alignment of Feng Shui and Edgar Cayce teachings.
Peggy is currently writing a book, “Peace In Our Homes and Hearts” subtitled A Feng Shui Journey to The Divine in Our Relationships, and is a leading participant in James Twyman and Hampton Roads Publishing Company’s Next Top Author book publishing contest. She has had articles published in Virginia’s “Pleasant Living”, “Thrive”, Donna Eden’s “Inner Source” and the “International Feng Shui Grapevine”. She was a featured writer for SW Florida’s “Natural Awakenings”, published in the Naples Daily News, and featured in the SW Florida publications “Fort Myers News Press”, “Gulf Shore Life”, “Properties of Distinction” and “Naples Life”.
She appeared on WTVK in SW Florida numerous times and enjoyed radio interviews in Florida and Michigan. In 2009 she was featured regularly on The Kimmie Rose Show and in 2008 she was a weekly guest of The Maria Shaw Show, both @ www.psychiconair.com from CBS. Earlier this year she was interviewed by Art Ray on the A.R.E’s internet radio show.
Peggy is an adjunct instructor of Interior Design as well as Feng Shui at Tidewater Community College in Chesapeake, Virginia. She has developed a full semester 3 credit Feng Shui class for the college.
In addition to Hampton Roads and other areas of Virginia, Peggy has Feng Shui clients with whom she has worked on site in California, Florida, Michigan, Nevada and the Bahamas. Her specialty is remote consultation through floor plans, photos and a biography. These are helpful for pre-construction and moving as well as other life issues. Using her Feng Shui recommendations, Peggy’s clients have found spouses, sold homes, enhanced spiritual relationships, increased financial flow, received promotions, and more.
Peggy’s current artwork, reflective of powerful Feng Shui teachings of the Bagua and the Five Elements, is in private collections in Florida, Michigan, Arizona and Virginia. This work is available in the A.R.E. bookstore as well as to order through the artist.

Peggy’s Feng Shui studies (over 500 classroom hours) have taken her coast to coast and include Compass School Feng Shui, Black Sect Tantric Buddhist (BTB) Feng Shui and Space Clearing among others. She received her B.F.A. in Interior Design from The Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL and her B.A. in Political Science from Indiana/Purdue Universities at Indianapolis. She is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers, a Florida licensed realtor and Virginia Certified Interior Designer.

Peter Van Daam, a graduate of both MIT and Brown University, is an economist and nationally recognized pioneer in home-based education. Twice in the 1980s he achieved ballot status for Rhode Island’s office of governor. His platform was/is simple: restore the Constitution.
Introduced to the Edgar Cayce work over 40 years ago, he has been studying, applying and sharing those practical concepts ever since. In 1973 he facilitated formation of the first of what eventually numbered over 20 Search for God groups. In the early 1980s he formed a council to coordinate A.R.E. group activity in Rhode Island. In the mid 1990s he served as member coordinator for the A.R.E. Northeast Region core team.
In 2000 he settled in Virginia Beach for the purpose of writing and speaking. He became an active member of both the A.R.E. prayer group and “Work” readings study group, and a frequent lecturer on core topics including ideals, meditation, prayer, healing, health and rejuvenation. Since 2001 he has been presenting an easy-to-learn Cayce-based morning lymphatic exercise program at the A.R.E.’s headquarters conferences. In 2006 he produced a best-selling instructional exercise DVD, Western Yoga for All, and the A.R.E. featured him and his lifestyle program as a special one-day conference helping mark its 75th anniversary.
He has presented his lifestyle program (now titled “Patterning Your Life for Wholeness”) in Milwaukee, Charleston, Ontario, Ashtabula, Virginia’s Eastern Shore, Doylestown, Boston, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Providence. The A.R.E. has featured portions in numerous pre-conference workshops and for the opening morning session of its 2009 Annual Congress.

Laura Jackson is a speaker, author, coach, consultant and advocate. She is passionate about humanity and what is being called the New Paradigm Community. During the 1930s of the Depression years VA Beach was a jumping/jiving place to be. The Cub Gables was at the north end of the beach behind the Cavalier on the hill. It was an after-hours club where the entertainers from the Cavalier went to relax and jam and where others went to gamble and have fun. The Club Gables was built during difficult times. It thrived and was the beginning of Mildred and Eddie Lachman’s fortune. They went on to build the VB fishing pier. It was also the time when Edgar Cayce moved to the beach to begin his life’s journey also at the north end.
Mildred will tell how she survived and flourished during the Depression. The 2nd hour I’ll talk about her rules of wisdom and how they apply to our changing times today.

An encounter with Edgar Cayce’s clairvoyant discourses on the Bible and the lives of Jesus was a transformational experience in Robert’s life that brought to him the mystic flowering fountain of love and gratitude that has since guided his life in a search for service and an ever increasing connection and relationship with the Divine. While the Cayce Readings led him to the great and living truths of the soul and spirit, his greatest teacher was Edgar Cayce’s lifelong secretary, Gladys David Turner who taught little with words but demonstrated powerfully as a the living example of love and service, which lay at the heart of the Cayce Legacy.
Robert is an author, minister, lecturer, poet and a spiritual healer. He is also the author of the three volume study, Edgar Cayce’s Story of the Old Testament and Spiritual Power Points, based on the Cayce interpretations of life and Scripture. He also is co-author with renowned British spiritual healer, Malcolm Smith of Spiritual Power, Healing Hands, recounting Smith’s journey as a spiritual healer.
